He established Polley Clinic of Dermatology in April 1990, starting with offices in Wilson in Smithfield.
Through the years he has grown the practice to include additional offices in Rocky Mount, Roanoke Rapids, Goldsboro, and Fayetteville.
Polley Clinic has been among the largest dermatology providers in the Southeast, and one of the largest privately-owned medical economic engines in North Carolina.
He is proud to have provided employment to hundreds of employees and has had four employees that have been with him for greater than 20 years.
He is married with 2 children. His son, Dennis C Polley II joined him in the Fayetteville practice as a physician Assistant in September 2016.
His hobbies include singing and playing the guitar, snow skiing, and golf.
